The new sector wlan antenna has been launched in the Wireless Instruments offer. The new design is available with WiBOX Extra Large antenna box. It is available in two versions in the single polarity (vertical or horizontal) and one MIMO wifi antenna SA M5-45-19HV.
Both versions operates in the range of 5,1 – 5,85 GHz with the gain of 19dBi and 45°. The solution is predicted to be used with embeded radio equipment, for example with MikroTik as MT CPE antenna or Ubiquiti as CPE UBNT antenna. This design was made because of the customer requests for the solution which allows for connect more customers in the same area (base antenna system using 6 to 8 pcs of 45° sector wifi antenna), which cannot be done using common 90 or 120 degrees sector antennas. Quite high antenna gain as for sector antenna allows to create efficient point-to-multipoint networks. WiBOX Extra Large antenna box enables possibility to install any radio equipment inside the radio compartment with dimensions of 23 x 45 x 5 [cm]. The plastic back can be plated (optional) with the reflection material which ensures the EMI shielding.
